Become weapons to protect Dharma- H.H. Harihar Maharaj Dinegavkar

Dr. Tavde discussed about the `Eradication of (blind) faith bill’ and the `bill on government take over of Hindu temples’ with the revered saint. He also appraised Maharaj about the activities of the HJS pertaining to denigration of the Hindu religion and the country. When speaking on the `Eradication of (blind) faith bill’ Maharaj commented that there could nothing worse than a ban on religious practice. He said the Maharashtra government is doing what even demons like Kansa and Raven did not dare to do. It is shameful to ban Hindu holy texts through the bill because these very texts are the basis of our cultural heritage, the very foundation of our righteousness and the government is making an attempt to destroy these. About government take over of Hindu temples He said, Hermitages and temples are centres of propagation of Spirituality and are absolutely essential to unify society. Government take over of these places will destroy this societal unity.

Praising the HJS for its mission revered Maharaj promised, I shall participate in the mission of the HJS using my full potential. I promise to offer my assistance as and when required. Should the need arise I shall even provide with man power. Remember I am not doing this for you, I am doing this for myself so as to fulfil my duty. On behalf of the HJS Dr. Tavde honoured Maharaj with a coconut and a holy text, a publication of the Sanatan Sanstha.
(Such holy men and saints who perceiving the mission of the HJS participate in it wholeheartedly are the very strength of the HJS!-Editor)
