Mumbai : Lecture on ‘Navaratri and Love Jihad’ was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) during Navaratri festival at various places such as ‘Gaondevi Mitra Mandal’ of Gaondevi Tekadi at Bhandup, ‘Samrat Mitra Mandal’ of Sarvodaya Nagar, ‘Navadurga Kreeda Mandal’ of Kaju Tekadi, ‘Jwala Seva Mandal’ and ‘Tejaswini Mahila Seva Mandal’ of Tembipada, Kondhalkar Compound of Ram Nagar and students from 8th to 10th standards from private coaching classes.

Guidance given at ‘Gaondevi Mitra Mandal’s premises after recitation of Durga Saptashati

Recitation of ‘Durga Saptashati’ was held in the premises of ‘Gaondevi Mitra Mandal’ of Gaondevi Tekadi by Bhandup Centre of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Shri Swami Samartha Seva and Adhyatmik Vikas Marg, Nashik’. 265 women attended the program and were explained about Navaratri and Love Jihad. Shri. Siddhesh Patil, President of ‘Gaondevi Mitra Mandal’ extended valuable cooperation in organizing this lecture.

Shri. Sadanand Sarang, a reader of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ helped in organizing lecture at ‘Samrat Mitra Mandal’ of Sarvodaya Nagar. Shri. Sachin Patere, an office bearer of this Mandal liked the post of Sanatan Sanstha regarding Navaratri; therefore, he immediately forwarded the same to Mandal’s social media group and people known to him. 45 people attended the lecture held at ‘Navadurga Kreeda Mandal’, Kajupada.

Sanatan Sanstha’s booklets distributed among deserving students

‘Jwala Seva Mandal’ and ‘Tejaswini Mahila Seva Mandal’ jointly organized Dandiya and programs like distribution of Tulsi-saplings and of educational material among deserving students. Shri. Santosh Breed, a devout Hindu was felicitated for his social work, with the award of ‘Samaj-bhushan’ on the occasion. Shri. Rajan (Surendra) Gawade, a social worker and Shri. Suresh Patil of ‘Yashobharat Times’ were among the main invitees. Devout advocate Santosh Mahamuni actively participated in organizing the program. Sanatan Sanstha’s ten short books were also distributed among students along with other educational material. The lecture was attended by 60 people. Members and office bearers of ‘Mandal’ were happy to learn about Navaratri festival along with its science as explained by HJS.

‘Raas-Garba’ and fancy-dress competition-2019 was jointly held at Shivashakti Niwas, Kondhalkar Compound, Ram Nagar by ‘Mauli Seva Pratishthan’ and weekly periodical ‘YashoBharat Times’. The program was attended by dignitaries viz. Shri. Sunil Mane (Painter) and Shri. Uday Shirsath. 80 people attended the program. Devout advocate Santosh Mahamuni took active part in the program.

Highlights

1. Shri. Santosh Breed, a devout Hindu sponsored 3 flex-boards on Navaratri festival at ‘Bal Gopal Sai Sevak Mitra Mandal’. Book exhibition was also held here by Sanatan Sanstha during Navaratri festival.

2. ‘Jayadurga Nagar Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal’ sponsored and displayed 4 flex-boards giving scientific information on Navaratri festival
