Demand to ban Halal products in Chhattisgarh; CM assures inquiry and appropriate action

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “This matter is serious. We think that this kind of ban should be imposed right away; but we will try to ban halal products in a week’s time. We are discussing the matter in detail with the Chief Minister. Demand for strict action against the officials who defied Maha CM’s instructions to fund the old temple of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Although it has been one and a half years since Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde ordered to increase this fund, it is yet to be implemented. Lawmakers assure to raise the issue of banning the sale of alcohol and meat in religious places!

A petition was submitted by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to various MLAs demanding that religious places should be freed from the sale of alcohol and meat. Mr Sunil Ghanwat (Maharashtra State Organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) submitted these petitions to Shiv Sena MLAs Chimanrao Patil and Balaji Kinikar, Mahesh Landge (BJP MLA from Pune), Mangesh Chavan (BJP MLA from Chalisgaon, Jalgaon district).
