Belagavi, Karnataka – Due to a lack of pride in Hindu Dharma and a lack of knowledge regarding the greatness of their own culture, young Hindu women are falling victim to love jihad. Love jihad is not just an assault on Hindu women, but a well-planned attack on Hindu Dharma itself. Therefore, to stop this, faithful adherence to Hindu Dharma and culture is extremely necessary. This call was made by Sadguru Swati Khadye, the Dharmapracharak of Sanatan Sanstha.

She was addressing a special lecture organised on the subject of love jihad on 28 June at the Shri Jagatjyoti Basaveshwar Kalyan Mandap, Danamma Devasthan, Shahapur, Belagavi.

Citizens present at the programme

Present on this occasion were the chief of ISKCON Shri. Shankararanya Prabhuji, Sanatan Sanstha’s Pujya Shankar Gunjekar, along with more than 1,600 devout Hindu citizens. Students from various schools also arrived in large numbers to listen to the lecture.

On this occasion, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, also addressed the gathering. He appealed to Hindu women to become active members of the ‘Beti Surakshit, Rashtra Surakshit’ (If the daughter is safe, the nation is safe) campaign and contribute to the safety of themselves, society and the nation.
