Ramnathi (Goa): ‘Daily Sanatan Prabhat (DSP)’ praised by many Saints and scholars with various adjectives like devout pro-Hindu periodical, nurturing fiery Hinduism, ‘Dharmadeep’ generating ‘Dharmachetana’ among Hindus, the Sun of protectors of Dharma etc. celebrated its 11th anniversary on the occasion of ‘Akshaya-trutiya’ at Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram in Goa. On the occasion of this ceremony, about 1135 ‘jidnyasus (those curious to know about Dharma)’ visited the Ashram.

Blessing of Saints engaged in carrying out divine mission and presence of seekers doing selfless service, devout and patriotic Hindus taking part in some or the other related campaigns, devout citizens who have backed Sanatan even in its difficult time, advertisers who too are a part of the divine mission and the patrons who always rush to help Sanatan in the time of crisis was the special feature of this program. The program began at 9.45 a.m. with performing ‘puja’ of the special issue of Goa and Sindhudurga edition of DSP by Sanatan’s seeker Shri. Padmakar Honap under the direction of seeker – Purohit Master Mandar Manerikar, an 11 year old child – seeker; followed with lighting of lamp by the chief guests viz. freedom-fighter Shri. Shyamsundar Nagavekar and Captain Dattaram Sawant. The students studying in the ‘Purohit Pathshala’ of Sanatan recited ‘Veda-mantras’ and the special 18 pages anniversary issue of DSP was inaugurated. Part 1 and 2 in the series of ‘Dharmashikshan’ in Kannada language were also released by the dignitaries. The program was concluded with singing of Vande Mataram’.

Everyone should take part in Sanatan’s ‘Dharmajagruti’ mission ! – Freedom fighter Shyamsundar Nagavekar

“I am overwhelmed with the activities undertaken by Sanatan towards ‘Dharmajagruti’. This country will sustain only if Hindu culture sustains,” said the Vice President of Azad Gomantak Dal and a senior freedom fighter Shri. Shyamsundar Nagavekar. He said further, “Political leaders are obliquely glancing at Sanatan Sanstha. They do not know the power of Hindu unity. Today, the Chief Minister of Goa says that there is no evidence against Sanatan Sanstha whereas the Congress MPs from Goa say that they have proofs. These Hindu rulers are only Hindus by birth but not by mind or even blood. They have no respect towards Hindu Dharma. I feel ashamed to even call them as Hindus. Those who are talking against Sanatan i.e. against Hindu Power should think not twice but 17 times to say anything against such power. They should give up the thought of imposing ban on Sanatan. Today’s rulers are corrupt, selfish and thoughtless, imprudent.” Shri. Nagavekar narrated his fiery experiences from the freedom fight.

Army is required to protect those doing ‘Dharmakarya’ ! – Captain Sawant

Capt. Sawant expressed his constant support for Sanatan’s ‘Dharmakarya’. He said, “In olden days, demons used to trouble the sages during the ‘yadnyas (sacred fire)’ performed by them; similarly, the rulers are opposing Sanatan’s activities but there is no need to fear. The seekers should carry on with their tasks. Today, there is need of army to protect those who are doing ‘Dharmakarya’. When MP Shantaram Naik is saying that he has proofs against Sanatan, why is he not producing them?”
