One-day Mandir Parishad at Mangaluru

Mangaluru (Karnataka): Temples hold a unique place in Hindu Dharma. When the management of the temples is in the hands of the government, the temple functions as per the views of the government and not with Bhav. By destroying the Dharmashastra, the government has started lording over Hindu Dharma through the The Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments act. If we don’t wake up now, temples will start having namaz offerings. We need unity and organization to survive, to exist asserted the hereditary priest of Durgaparameshwari temple (Kateel), Shri Harinarayana Asranna. He was speaking at the Dakshina Kannada district level Mandir Parishad held at Srinivasa Kalyan Mandap in the city on January 26.
