Hyderabad (Telangana) – The Union Ministry of Culture and ‘Heartfulness’, a spiritual organisation, are organising the ‘Global Spirituality Mahotsav’ here. This confluence of practitioners of various spiritual faiths will be held in the world’s largest meditation hall called ‘Kanha Shanti Vanam’. Over 300 spiritual organisations practicing various paths are expected to participate. The organisers have extended an invite to Sanatan Sanstha to participate in this festival which is to be inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India Draupadi Murmu. The Hon’ble Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will also grace the occasion. The organisers of the Mahotsav held a press conference here on March 9 to share details about this festival.

Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy, H.H. Chinnajeeyar Swamiji, Daaji (Kamaleshji Patel, Guide, Heartfulness), as well as Swami Bodhmayanandji (President of Sri Ramakrishna Mission) addressed the press conference. Representatives of other spiritual organizations were also present on this occasion.

Planning solutions to ideological pollution itself solves all problems! – Daaji, Guide, Heartfulness

Daaji (Kamaleshji Patel) shared that practitioners of various paths of spirituality will gather and exchange ideas over 4 days. This will help draw up directions and practical solutions on how to achieve inner peace. Through this, harmony will be created in the society. We want to convey to the world that religions are not against each other. Spirituality can bring people together. Ideological pollution is the biggest problem. Designing solutions to this issue will solve all other problems.

Culture and spirituality are India’s soft power. Meditation for mental peace has become an integral part of the daily lives of millions of people. Spiritual tourism has developed in India and people from different countries are coming to various ashrams in India to learn spirituality. The motto of this ‘Global Spiritual Mahotsav’ is based on the G-20’s common agenda of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti delegation to participate in the Global Spirituality Mahotsav

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been at the forefront of serving Sanatan Dharma for over 2 decades now. The Samiti’s various programmes are aimed at inculcating pride for Dharma and providing practical guidance in abiding by the tenets of Sanatan Dharma. The Samiti delegation will be led by Sadguru Dr Charudatta Pingale (National Guide, HJS) and Sadguru Nilesh Singbal. The delegation will also include Mr Ramesh Shinde, the Samiti’s National Spokesperson.
