17 cows rescued by ‘Gourakshaks’ at Kaithal (Haryana)

Only passing laws banning cow-slaughter is not enough but it is necessary to take stringent action against cow-traffickers

Kaithal (Haryana) : Activists of ‘Gouraksha Dal’ chased a vehicle transporting cows and rescued 17 cows; but cow-traffickers ran away from the place,  firing at Gou-rakshaks’. Police have filed case in this regard. In the night of 23rd June, activists of ‘Gou-rakshak Dal’ got information about a vehicle transporting animals going towards Kaithal from Punjab. They, therefore, blocked the roads for checking and chased that vehicle; but animal-traffickers left the vehicle midway and ran away while firing at activists.
