It’s imperative for Bharatiyas to identify themselves as Hindus!

Pune (Maharashtra): Like Bharat, all countries have their own problems and issues, but they also know their identity. If anyone challenges this identity, he is given a stern warning by every nation. Bharatiyas, however, inspite of having a glorious past, do not have this kind of an identity and if they narrate this past, they are termed sectarian. Thus, it is imperative for Bharatiyas to identify themselves as Hindus or Bharatiya, said Shri. Mohan Bhagwat, Executive member of the RSS.

He was speaking at the series of lectures titled ‘Dream of a prosperous Nation: Reality and Action’ organised in the memory of Late Jayantrao Tilak by the Pune Shramik Patrakaar Sangha. At this time, Shri. Dyaneshwar Bijale, Chairman of the Pune Shramik Patrakaar Sangha and Shri. Kulkarni, Secretary of the Sangha were present. Shri. Sunil Kaduskar of the Pune Patrakaar Pratishthan gave the vote of thanks. This program was attended by more than 500 citizens of Pune. Shri. Bhagwat further said that, Bharatiyas face the difficulty of retaining their character. The media is educating the society to lead unrestrained lives. One who opposes this is regarded insane. To improve the society, we need to have ideals in our minds. Lastly he said that, although the nation is moving towards financial prosperity, farmers’ suicides, deaths due to starvation, internal security arrangements are becoming serious issues.
