It is now time to put into practice what is learnt from Shivaji Maharaj : Dr. Dahake

Kalyan : We have forgotten sacrifices made by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his ‘mawlas’. Maharaj used to seek blessings of Bhavanidevi before undertaking any drive, worshipping her; similarly, we should also worship God. If we want Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to take birth again; then we have to first create Jijau; therefore, ‘Dharmashikshan’ and ‘Dharmacharan’ are important. It is now time to put into practice whatever we have learnt from the life history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj rather than just listen to the same, stated Dr. Upendra Dahake, Vice President of BJP for Kalyan city. He was addressing in a program held at Shirdhon village on 19th February on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatarapati Shivaji Maharaj. The program was attended by more than 100 local residents.

Highlights

1. The children had made all arrangements for Shivajayanti program only in 4 days.

2. Programs like singing of ballads and lectures were held although it was their first year of organizing such program.

3. The program was started with lighting of lamp by the local residents.
