Tradition should have been followed at Shani Shinganapur : Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidyaranyabharati

What do people breaking religious traditions have to say on this ?

Sambhajinagar : Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidyaranyabharati from Humpy, Karnataka frankly gave his opinion on following religious traditions and said that tradition followed at Shri Shani Shingnapur should have been followed; while giving his opinion on the incident of women entering temple sanctum of Shri Shani Shingnapur. He said that Shri Saibaba of Shirdi was like Guru to him and there need not be any dispute over the same. He was speaking during press conference held by ‘Brahmin Samaj Parashuram Jayanti Utsav’.

Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidyaranyabharati said further, “There is need for re-thinking on what is taught in ‘Vedas’; what is stated in science as also on following customs and traditions. We have forgotten what we have received in legacy, our customs and traditions; therefore, we are going towards destruction. In fact, countries like USA and Germany are following Hindu culture and using science, believing in ‘Vedas’.” (Will BJP Govt. at centre think about it ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
