Those who do not have the sense of loyalty towards the nation, should leave this country – Mr. Dhananjay Chitale

Chiplun (Maharashtra): Hindu culture teaches us to pay obeisance to the earth-goddess after getting up in the morning. It teaches us to love our country; therefore, everyone should say ‘Vande Mataram’. Today, ‘fatwas’ are issued against singing ‘Vande Mataram’. Those, who do not have the sense of loyalty towards this nation and do not wish this country to be a strong and powerful country, should leave this country. The above forthright views were expressed by Mr. Dhananjay Chitale, a scholar in literature written by various saints, in his address during the ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagurti Samiti (HJS) at United English School’s ‘Gurudakshina’ Hall.

Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of ‘Dharma-shakti Sena’, Mrs. Janhavi Salunkhe of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat shared the dais with him. Despite heavy rains, about 2000 devout Hindus attended the ‘sabha’. The meeting began with Mr. Chitale lighting the lamp and recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by Mr. Atmaram Sahastrabuddhe Guruji and his group.

Mr. Chitale said further, “We greet each other by saying ‘Namaskar’ or ‘Ram Ram’. Now we should say even ‘Vande Mataram’ while greeting each other. The new year of Hindus does not begin with a death anniversary but begins with celebration of victory. Therefore, Hindus should celebrate their new year on ‘Gudhi Padva’ rather than on 1st January.” Mr. Pritam Nachankar, a representative of the staunch Hindu periodical ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was felicitated on the occasion. Mr. Sanjay Joshi, the district coordinator of HJS for Ratnagiri, first narrated to the members of audience various activities undertaken by HJS. The other eminent speakers were also felicitated. The ‘sabha’ was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Miss Deepti Mulye.

‘Dharma-shakti Sena’ established to awaken the spirit among youth to live for their Dharma – Mr. Vinay Panwalkar, Dharmashakti Sena

There is a need to develop the capacity of self-protection among Hindus. Today, in this Hindu Nation, Hindus are not safe. When they learn about their history of valour, the sense of love towards their Nation will get awakened in them. Presently, Hindus are weak and have to face atrocities. Hindus should be mentally and physically prepared. It is the objective of Dharma-shakti Sena to motivate youth to live for their Dharma.

When every woman adopts ‘Dharmacharan’, Shivaji will be born in each home – Mrs. Janhavi Salunkhe, Ranaragini Branch

Due to lack of ‘Dharmacharan’, women have become mentally weak. If every woman starts following ‘Dharma’ and her family traditions, ‘Dharma-tej’ will be generated in her and when every woman follows her ‘Dharma’, Shivaji will be born in each home. Every woman also needs to become strong as the atrocities against them are on the rise.

Furtherance of ‘Dharma’ can be achieved through action and not by listening ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde, spokesperson, HJS

Hindus always crowd the places wherever there is some celebration related to religious festival; but furtherance of Dharma is possible only through action and not by listening to matters related to Dharma. Our Hindu Dharma is based on Science. Swami Vivekananda proved in Chicago that Hindu Dharma is the most superior Dharma. It is not necessary to prove the greatness of Dharma again and again.

The dignitaries who attended the ‘Sabha’

Pujya Narayanbuva Kelkar of Sri Swami Samartha Mutt, Markandi, H.B.P. Vitthal Juvale, H.B.P. Dattaram Ayare, H.B.P. Narayan Pawar, H.B.P. Sharad Pawar, H.B.P. Ramji Bolade, H.B.P. Shitap Guruji, H.B.P. Ganapat Modak, H.B.P. Dattabuva Mundhekar, HBP. Badade Maharaj participated in the meeting.

Feedback

Mr. Sadanand Chavnn, MLA, Shiv Sena : This is a drive of HJS to awaken Hindus. This is a different kind of program. Every Hindu must do something for Hindu Dharma. Hindus will surely get educated in matters related to Dharma through such programs.

A follow up meeting has been organised on 22nd November at Tilak Smarak Library at 4.00 p.m. for those who are interested in joining the activities consequent to attending the ‘Sabha’.

Significant incidents

1. The venue of the meeting had to be changed at the last moment due to rains but devout Hindus attended the meeting as they were aware of their duties towards the Nation and Dharma.

2. Warakaris from Dhamalwadi and Sutarwadi in Nandgaon came in ‘dindis’. Their arrival spread ‘chaitanya (divine energy)’ in the atmosphere.

3. There were a large number of youth attending the ‘sabha’.

4. The happenings of the ‘sabha’ were shown outside the hall with the help of a projector as there was overwhelming response to the ‘sabha’.
