HJS celebrates Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s ‘Coronation Day’ at various locations

Coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a matter of honour for Hindvi Swaraj – Shri. Shivaraya Kulkarni

Amaravati (Maharashtra): Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj realized the wish of God to establish Hindvi Swaraj for the welfare of this country and made efforts to fulfill the same. Maharaj did not do the same to get acclamation of people but he did it so that the Hindvi Swaraj would command respect in the world. The above views were expressed by Shri. Shivaraya Kulkarni, the zonal president of ‘Sanskar Bharati’ in a ceremony held at Shiv-tekadi to celebrate coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The program was organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

Shri. Kulkarni said further, “Mughal oppressed women, damaged temples of ‘Kashi-Vishweshwar’, ‘Bhavani-Devi’ during their regime. People’s homes and crops were burnt. Hindus were going through such severe atrocities when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj created self confidence among Hindus. He made Hindus realize that they were like lions who were leading their life as of sheep.

The program began with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ and ‘Rudrabhisheka’ by Vedacharya Vazurkar Guruji followed with ‘abhisheka’ and ‘puja’ of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji. The program was attended by many dignitaries including Sanatan Sanstha’s saint Pujya Satyavan Kadam, Shri. Shivaraya Kulkarni, zonal president of ‘Sanskar Bharati’ for Vidarbha, Shri. Siddhartha Wankhede, Western Vidarbha coordinator of all-India Students Federation, Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar, district coordinator of HJS, for Vidarbha and many devotees of Shivaji Maharaj. Vedacharya Vazurkar Guruji was felicitated with a shawl and ‘Sreefal (coconut)’.

Shri. Yogesh Malokar of HJS presented a review of HJS activities; Pujya Satyavan Kadam, a saint of Sanatan Sanstha was felicitated at the hands of Shri. Girish Komerwar with shawl and Sreefal, along with other dignitaries.

HBP. Shyamsundar Nichit Maharaj, president of Warakari Mahamandal, HBP. ShalikramKhedkar, its vice-president, Shri. Dinesh Bub, city-chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Someshwar Pusadkar, its former district-chief, S/ Shri. Pradip Shingore, city president of BJP, Sanjay Agrawal, its municipal councilor, Jayant Dehankar, social worker, Dr. Avinash Chaudhary, Shri. Dhirubhai Sangani, president of Gujarati Samaj, Dr. Anil Bonde, president of Shiv-tekadi Preservation Committee, Shri. Anantrao Gudhe, a MP of Shiv Sena, Shri. Nitin Vyas, president of Rajaput community and Shri. Nand Kumar Jadhav, district-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha were also present.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj brought people from all castes and creeds together to establish Hindvi Swaraj. HJS is also going to the common men, uniting them for protection of Dharma. HJS has understood the principle that world can be united when people will come together and thus, the mission of uniting people is going on smoothly.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had acquired the blessings of Goddess Bhavani, Saint Tukaram Maharaj and Samartha Ramdas Swami, due to his following the path of Dharma. He could establish Hindavi Swaraj because of the backing of Dharma. We must stop all those Shiva-devotees who are playing politics in the name of Dharma using the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Highlights

  1. As the program started; there also started thundering and storm. Pujya Satyawan Kadam and all Shiva-devotees started praying. After about 10 minutes, the storm subsided and the program could go on.
  2. Photo-exhibition devised by FACT giving information on oppression of Hindus in Kashmir was also put up at the venue.


Pune

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Bajarwadi Gramasth Mandal celebrate jointly

Pune (Maharashtra): Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Coronation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. He had established His Throne there decorated with precious jewels. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Bajarwadi Gramasth Mandal had organized the celebration jointly in Bajarwadi, situated at the base of Rohideswar Fort.  Historian, Shri. Rambhau Bandal, and HJS spokesperson Maharashtra, Shri. Ramesh Shinde present as speakers. More than 500 Shivbhaktas attended the ceremony.

Bajarwadi’s Deputy Sarpanch, Shri. Tushar Shinde, Vice-President of ‘Manase’ from Pune District, Adv. Ravindra Garudkar, Shri. Sagar Kulkarni of ‘Vidyarthi Sena’, Shri. Kailas Rane, Coordinator of Mulashi Distrct, Shri. Vinayak Sanas, ‘Pratapgad Utsav Samiti’ Vice-President, Maharashtra were present on the occasion. Many Youths from surrounding villages in Bhor performed ‘Abhishek’ in the temple of Raireshwar at 8 am. Thereafter Maharaja’s palanquin in which His idol kept was taken in a grand procession in Bajarwadi.

The villagers had grand reception with Rangolis drawn on the roads, raising ‘Gudhi’. All had dressed traditionally.Great attraction was the demonstration by ‘Lezim group’  from Mankarwadi. So also Gavand Guruji from Uran presented ‘Povada’ (song praising Maharaj) and some games.

‘Dheymantra’ presented by Shri. Rajendra Palve of Sri Shivpratisthan. Each of the representatives carried a symbolic Torch of Swarajya to their respective villages.

“Shivaji Maharaj had taught the way to live for Independence and Sambhaji Maharaj had shown the ‘Ideal’ way to live for Dharma. Chatrapati’s Swarajya was for the people. Today’s rulers cannot give that Swarajya as per our expectation.” – Shri. Ramesh Sinde

 Deputy Sarpanch of Bajarwadi Shri. Tushar Shinde while presenting vote of thanks said, “Shivaji Maharaj has come to our town after 365 years because of HJS.”


Bangalore

Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) Bangalore had organized Chhatrapati Shri. Shivaji Maharaj Janma Dinotsav in April along with Karnataka Maratha Welfare Association (KMWA) in April this year. The Association Committee was highly impressed by the activities of the Samiti. 

Hence on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shri. Shivaji Maharaj Rajyabhishek Day members of Samiti were invited by the management of KMWA School to hold a lecture for the benefit of children. On behalf of HJS Sou Usha Jagtap narrated how Shivaji Maharaj had made total submission to his Guru. Shri. Sandeep Joshi narrated the various incidents in Shivaji’s life and attracted the keen attention of the students. Shri. Ravishankar Thorat, President. (KMWA), Shri. Mahadev Rao, Secetary, Sou Purnima Prabhu Convenor HJS, Bangalore were present. More than 100 students took the benefit of the lecture.

Highly impressed by the lecture the Principal invited the HJS members to take weekly classes in the school on such topics.

Highlights

1.    In the end when the children were told to close their eyes and pray to God there was a Divine Feeling all over the Auditorium.
2.    All the children offered their obeisance to Shivaji Maharaj one by one after the lecture.
3.    Charts displaying proper practice of Hindu Culture took the attention of many student.
