This Act is against Hindus; therefore, Shri. Uddhav Thackeray should force the Government to cancel the same !

Mumbai  –  Without taking approval of Warakaris and all those who are against the Ordinance on anti-superstitions Act, Shiv Sena will not support it. If this Ordinance is going to adversely affect Hindus and if the Government tried to pass it without taking approval of all, we will burn such Ordinance. The above warning was given by Shri. Uddhav Thackeray, Shiv Sena Party-Chief during the historical rally of Shiv Sena held at Shivaji Park on Dasara. The Shiv Sainks attending the rally welcomed the statement with round of applause. He was addressing the first such rally held at Shivaji Park on Dasara after death of Shiv Sena Chief, Balasaheb Thackeray.  Thousands of Shiv Sainiks were present on the occasion.

Shri. Uddhav Thackeray, while explaining position on anti-superstitions Act said,

1. We had long discussions with Shyam Manav of ANiS on the anti-superstitions Ordinance when Shiv Sena MLA, Shri. Diwakar Raote and Shri. Subhash Desai were also present. Shyam Manav had said that it was an attempt to bring ban on undesirable customs. I told him that there was no need to talk about undesirable customs and traditions, superstitions etc. as my grandfather (Prabodhankar Thackeray) had already explained the issues when I was small. During the British regime, my grandfather was the only one who was fighting against these things; there was no one.  There is no need to tell me anything on such subject. We are also against black magic, superstitions etc.

2. After a month, Shyam Manav came again and said, “Uddhavji, it is only one-page Ordinance; nothing  much. After reading the Ordinance, I said if it was only against black magic, it can be approved; but Warakaris and those who are against the Ordinance, should first approve it; till then I will not extend support. On this Manav said, “Ok, we will sit together and discuss.”

3. After few days, Warakaris came to meet me. They said that there were many things in the Ordinance which were against us (Hindu Dharma); therefore, I promised them that unless the issue is sorted by discussing, I will not support the Act. If Rahul Gandhi can tear off Ordinance passed by Central Government, my Shiv Sainiks will burn this Ordinance.

4. Does the State Government have guts to make this Ordinance applicable to all, irrespective of their religion ?”

…..then let Hindu voters throng to polling booths !

Shri. Thackeray said further, “If Chief Minister of Maharashtra is advising Muslims to swarm to voting booths, I appeal to Hindus to throng to polling booths.”

If only Hindus are going to be implicated in Malegaon bomb blast, it won’t be tolerated!

Sadhvi Pradnya Singh and Colonel Purohit are languishing in jail for 5 years in connection with Malegaon bomb blast. If they are involved in bomb blast, do take action against them; but if they are going to be implicated only because they are Hindus, it will not be tolerated. Nobody talks against Owaisi who had claimed to finish Hindus within 15 minutes. Shri. Thackeray also warned that Shiv Sainiks were still alive to smash Owaisi.
