Jyeshtha Shuklapaksha 1, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

Vidyadhiraj Hall, Shri Ramnathi Devsthan, Goa : All articles of pride in Hindu Dharma are invaluable. Temples are the sources of Chaitanya. However, unfortunately, nobody present in the temple guides about Dharma. Incidents like allowing devotees to seek sight (Darshan) in the temple after collecting money, allotting a place in the temple for spreading Dharma by charging exorbitant rent etc. have become a common sight. So-called Sadhus and Saints, wearing saffron clothes demand money. Such unrighteous individuals, who exploit Dharma as means to earn money will have no place in the Hindu Rashtra. Such guidance was provided by Pujya Dr. Charudatta Pingle, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti while speaking on the ‘Plight of temples and, Sadhus and Saints.

Pujya Dr. Pingle said while providing guidance,

1. Some temples are closed during the noon; devotees arriving for darshan from far off places are told that Deity is sleeping. However, if any individual forks out money, he will be allowed to seek darshan of Deity by sliding the curtain before Deity.

2. The management of the temples charging exorbitant rent for the activity to spread Dharma even after being aware that the temples are mediums for spreading Dharma are treating temples as sources of business.

3. Most of the temples are so dirty that desire to visit them immediately vanishes.

4. A temple in Kashi is opened only in the morning and evening for performing Arati and is kept closed for the entire day because during the entire day, so-called Sadhus and Saints take shelter in the temples and smoke ganja, charas etc.

Un-righteous conduct in Kumbha Mela !

1. In a recently held Kumbha Mela at Prayagaraj, foreign journalists would give money to Naga Sadhus and shoot their pictures in inappropriate manner. Such behaviour makes foreign journalists to believe that Hindu Sadhus and Saints can be purchased by money.

2. Few Saints were offering money to journalists during press conferences for acquiring publicity. What ideals these Saints will present before the society ?

3. The titles like Mahant, Mahamandaleshwar were sold by collecting money just on the lines of distribution of party tickets during elections by the political parties. Sadhus and Saints, who claim to have sacrificed the worldly attractions of titles, publicity, popularity etc. are, in fact, noticed as entangled in such personal defects.

So-called Sadhus are Ravans in saffron clothes !

Pujya Dr. Pingle said, “Today, Hindus despite being more than 100 Crores in numbers are dejected because of lack of education about Dharma. Even Ravan knew that Hindus have faith in a saffron colour. That is why he abdicated Mother Sita on wearing saffron clothes. Today also, thousands of so-called Sadhus and Saints in saffron clothes are robbing Hindus. They are also Ravans in the present era.”

Pray for the establishment of the Hindu Rashtra in every temple after Arati !

Pujya Dr. Pingle said, “We should educate Hindus by visiting temples in the surrounding areas. In order to preserve the sanctity there, impress the importance of maintaining cleanliness. Pray for the establishment of the Hindu Rashtra in every temple after Arati in the morning and evening.”
