Parvari (Goa) : Sanatan Hindu Dharma conferred the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (World is one family)’ to the world. Hindu Dharma has taught ways of achieving progress in human life. Creation of Hindu Rashtra is required for the benefit of the world. Hindu Rashtra is the concept of social system which will be ideal for the world. It is important that blessings of God and Saints are acquired for success of the movement being undertaken for establishment of Hindu Rashtra and to acquire such blessings for achieving success, everyone needs to undertake spiritual practice. The above appeal was made by Pujya Dr. Charudatta Pingale, the national Guide of Hindu Janajagruiti Samiti (HJS). In the background of second all India Hindu Convention starting from 6th June at Ramnathi, Goa, Pujya Dr. Pingale was being interviewed on RDX, a local news channel from Goa. Shri. Vinay Panwalkar interviewed him.

Pujya Dr. Pingale gave detailed information on various issues like the noble objective of establishing Hindu Rashtra, speciality of movement undertaken for establishment of Hindu Rashtra compared to other divisive movements, how Hindu Rashtra is the right of Hindus conferred by the Constitution, positive effect of Hindu Convention held last year at Ramnathi, status of followers of other religions in Hindu Rashtra etc.

Pujya Dr. Pingale said, “There are 157 nations following Christianity, 52 Islamic countries, 12 Buddhist countries and there is also a separate country for Jews with population of few lakhs. Why should then Hindus with 80 crores of population not have a Hindu Rashtra? Why Hindus should not demand Hindu Rashtra? On Muslim League’s demand, Pakistan was created and Bharat was country of Hindus; but unfortunately, secular governance was imposed on Bharat after independence leading to anarchy. Now, we need a Constitution that will awaken divine qualities in human based on righteousness. There is no similarity between divisive movement undertaken by Khalistanis and movement for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. Khalistani movement was divisive resorting to violence. Establishment of Hindu Rashtra will be as per the demand of majority of population and with the participation of citizens; this movement will be undertaken in lawful manner. Demand of Hindu Rashtra is not against Constitution. We will make this demand through Constitution. During the last Hindu Convention, we have been able to bring together all pro-Hindu organizations working at different levels on the same platform and motivate them to become active. In the Constitution drafted after independence, the word ‘secular’ was not there; but the word was incorporated during emergency in unconstitutional manner. Everybody has a right to express his/ her opinion in Indian Constitution. Communists try to bring their rule; Muslim League still tries to implement Shariat Law in Bharat; is it not against constitution? This point should be pondered over first. The concept of Hindu Rashtra has come from many factions including Swatantryaveer Savarkar with few differences. Our concept is slightly different. Our efforts are towards every person in this country becoming righteous and to set up social system that will be conducive for the same. Followers of other religions will not face any kind of oppression in Hindu Rashtra. They will have no problems if they accept existence of Hindus; but there will be common law for all in Hindu Rashtra. In Hindu Rashtra, minorities will not be unduly pampered as is being done now. Welfare of every living being, person will be taken care of in Hindu Rashtra. None of the political parties has taken any stance openly about Hindu Rashtra. In fact, all parties are oppressing Hindus. Devout Hindu leaders from all parties will be included in this movement.
