Congress to create awareness (?) on ‘Communal Violence Bill’

O Hindus, please note that Congress is already striving to pass Communal Violence Bill which is designed to appease minorities for their votes and oppress majority Hindus. Now it is need of the hour that all Hindus should unite wholeheartedly against this Anti-Hindu Bill !

Mangalore (Karnataka) : MLA Ramanath Rai said that the Congress will conduct awareness programs in every taluk of DK on the Communal Violence Bill. He was addressing reporters recently. Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) will organise taluk-level awareness programmes to emphasise the necessity of passing the Bill in the nation

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, DCC president B Ramanatha Rai said that legal experts will talk on the proposed Bill in taluk-level awareness programmes. Party will hold meeting to discuss about the venue and date soon, he added.Stating that communal forces are creating confusion among the public regarding this bill, he said that creating awareness is necessary. He said that these communal forces have even threatened bloodshed if the bill is passed.

Quoting Jawaharlal Nehru, he said that a minority community getting communal is a threat only to that community, but the majority community getting communal is a threat to the entire nation. He accused the Sangh Parivar of stirring up communal unrest to hide the truth about this law. “Sangha Parivara and BJP leaders are opposing the Bill baseless without studying it properly. Though the central government is aiming at bring communal harmony and ensuring protection to citizens through the Bill, it has been projected as an anti-Hindu Bill by some leaders belong to Sangha Parivar and BJP,” he charged.

Talking about the Bellary bye-election result, Rai said that it shows the pathetic situation of BJP in the state. “The party, which rules the state, could not even secure enough votes to get the security deposit back,” he ridiculed. Congress leaders Mithun Rai, Ashraf, and Ivan D’Souza were also present.
