Then Hindutva supporters on social media should use this opportunity to ask BJP Govt to fulfill their promises about Ram Mandir, Article 370 and 35A, Ban on cow slaughter etc. ! – Editor, Hindujagruti
Noida : While the world debates and deciphers how much influence social media has on voter opinion, and eventually deciding elections, BJP galvanising its IT cell in UP through four meetings in two months says a lot about what India’s ruling party thinks.
Known for vigorous online attacks on rivals, the IT cell has been given a clear brief — counter any “false accusation” against PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath, identify supporters of BJP, RSS and Hindutva on social media and invite them to volunteer, and go after SP-BSP.
At a meeting in Noida on Saturday, state BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey termed IT cell members of the party as “important cyber soldiers”, who needed to bring out the “difference between BJP and rival parties”.The social media strategy will focus on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as WhatsApp.
