HJS takes out rally on the eve of ‘Gudhi Padva’ in Pune

Pune (Maharashtra): On the eve of ‘Gudhi Padva’, the beginning of New Year for Hindus, a huge rally was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). An appeal was made by HJS to celebrate New Year on ‘Gudhi Padva’ instead of 1st Janury as there is a spiritual science behind such celebration; Hindus should exchange greetings and wish family and friends on the occasion of Gudhi Padva.

The speciality of the rally was the traditional attire adorned by men and women like men wearing ‘Dhoti’ or ‘kurta’ and head gear and women in 9-yard saris. The rally began with the ‘puja’ of ‘Dharma-dhvaja’ by Shri. Anil Shirole, a municipal councillor from BJP. A road show was also organized on the spiritual science behind the new year should be celebrated on Gudhi Padva. People walking in the rally were carrying banners with informative matter.

The rally started from ‘Bhikardas Maruti’ temple to Ramanbaug School chowk via Pune Vidyarthi Gruh, Nagnath Par, Kumathekar Rastaa, Vishrambaug Wada and Shagun Chowk. A live demonstration was given on hoisting of ‘Gudhi’ as per spiritual science. The rally ended with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.

Many leaders like Shri. Muralidhar Mohol, city-president of BJYM, Shri. Shreenath Bhimale, municipal councilor, Shri. Vidyadhar Nargolkar of swatantryaveerSawarkar Pratishthan, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, spokesperson of HJS for Pune and Nagar districts, Shri. Hemant Shinde, its member, Dr. Narednra Date, prasar-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Shambhu Gaware, its district-sevak amd Mrs. Anjali Joshi etc.

Highlights

1. Seeker carrying the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ was riding on a horse.

2. The atmosphere became very auspicious with playing of instruments like trumpet, clarinet etc.

3. Conch was blown in the beginning of the rally.

4. Participants were chanting ‘Sreerama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama’ in the rally.

Pune (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has organized various programs like rallies, exchange of greetings, public hoisting of ‘Gudhis’ etc. on the occasion of Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada i.e. ‘Gudhi-Padava’, beginning of a new year. The above information was given by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, spokesperson of HJS for Pune and Nagar districts in a press conference held at Patrakar Bhavan in Pune where Shri. Hemant Shinde of HJS and Mrs. Anjali Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha were also present.

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat said, “It is for the benefit of Hindu brethren that HJS has been organizing lectures for the past 15 days at more than 50 places in Pune district on how to hoist ‘Gudhi’ and the spiritual science behind such celebration. This is also to bring to the notice of Hindus that ‘Gudhi – Padava’ is the beginning of our New Year, besides, more than 25,000 circulars have been distributed on the subject, banners are being displayed at more than 150 places to enlighten people on how to celebrate the festival as per science. Even in many schools, students have been made aware through lectures on the subject.

In many villages like Junner, Talegaon, Kikavi, Shindewadi, Hingangaon (Nagar dist.), there will be public hoisting of ‘Gudhis’ to welcome the New Year. Huge rallies have also been organized on the occasion at Pune city, Sangavi, Rajgurunagar, Ghodegaon, Junner etc. In Pune city, the rally will begin on 26th March, Thursday at 5.00 p.m. from Bhikardas Maruti Temple. Shri. Ghanavat has made an appeal to people to participate in this rally in their traditional clothes. The VCD made by Sanatan Sanstha on manner to celebrate ‘Gudhi-Padava’ as per science was shown to the media persons on the occasion.
