Anti-social elements attack vehicles of Sanatan seekers to create terror !

Attempts have been started to create terror by attacking vehicles used for dropping Sanatan seekers to their residence. On 12th October, a vehicle carrying seekers dropped seekers to their residence and reached Ramnathi bus stand at 9.45 p.m. when it was attacked with stones and a bottle. In another incident, at 10.30 p.m., a petrol bomb was thrown at Sanatan vehicle but fortunately, it fell in front of the vehicle. The driver immediately stopped the vehicle using presence of mind and the mishap was avoided. The miscreants ran away taking advantage of darkness. Seekers from the vehicle saw two persons running from the side from where petrol bomb was thrown.

Sanatan Sanstha lodges complaint with police

In both the incidents, police came to the place of incidents and inspected after a complaint was lodged with Ponda police station. Police Inspector Sudesh Naik personally inspected the situation at night. Due to terror caused by anti-social elements, vehicles of ashram were escorted by police vehicles to send seekers to their residence.

Sanatan Sanstha demands action against Saurabh Lotalikar

Petrol Bomb

On 11th October 2015, ‘Ramnath Yuva Sangh’s Saurabh Lotalikar had threatened in a meeting held at Ramnathi that he would stage violent agitation like ‘Nylon 6.6’. In this background, it is likely that such terrorizing acts were carried out. Police should take a note of the same and file an  FIR against Saurabh Lotalikar and other anti-social elements who are after lives of Sanatan seekers. An application to the above effect was submitted to Ponda police station on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha.

It has been stated in the complaint that Saurabh Lotalikar is creating hatred amongst people towards Sanatan Sanstha. He is misleading youth, asking them to carry out violent acts to get publicity. He had held a meeting on 11th October despite police refusing permission for the same. He had distributed few handbills which were illegal. Who had published those handbills; where were they published? There was no name on it. He also abused police during the meeting and criticized police; demoralizing them. Owing to provoking statements made by him during the meeting, few anti-social elements passed by houses of Sanatan seekers on two-wheelers in the night of 11th October, shouting Sanatan Sanstha with derision. In the night of 12th October, Sanatan vehicles were attacked with petrol bombs. It indicates that provoking speech of Saurabh Lotalikar on 11th October has led to violence against Sanatan. Police must take note of this and file an FIR against Lotalikar.

Earlier attacks on Sanatan ashram and vehicles using petrol bombs !

Earlier in the night of 6th November 2014, at 9.45 p.m. anti-social elements had thrown bombs made with petrol and kerosene from the East side of the ashram. On 9th November, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had used Sanatan’s vehicle Maruti Omni for Hindu Dharma-jagruti Sabha’s propagation and it was parked near parking place at the venue of the ‘sabha’. After the ‘sabha’ was over, at 10.00 p.m., few unknown miscreants tried to set the vehicle on fire with the aim of causing human loss and petrol bombs were used for this purpose. In this fire, however, banners displayed on the vehicle were burnt. That time also, Sanatan Sanstha had lodged a complaint with the police and police had interrogated Saurabh Lotalikar.
