Thane (Maharashtra): With a view to focus the increasing onslaughts on Hindu dharma, Dharmajagruti Sabha has been convened at 6.30 p.m. on 14th May in municipal school No.44 at Vartaknagar, Thane (Maharashtra). As a prelude to the Sabha and with a larger perspective to create awakening among the Hindus, a Naam-Dindi was organised today in Vartaknagar region here. About 500 ardent Hindus participated in the Naam-Dindi and thus religiously performed their duty towards the dharma.

The Naam-Dindi commenced from municipal school No.44 in Vartaknagar with breaking of a coconut and worship of a dharma flag by Pujya Dhanaji Mahalebaba, founder, Shri Datta Mandir. His wife was also present on the occasion. The Dindi wound its way through Shastrinagar, Devadayanagar, Shivainagar, Saibaba Mandir and culminated at municipal school No.44.
