Goa police to keep vigil on the activities of Sanatan and other organizations in the background of Diwali

During celebration of Narakasur-slaying, incidents of shouting rowdily against someone, indecent abusing, stone-pelting etc. take place; therefore, the police should provide protection to Sanatan ashram; but we know that they will not provide such protection because the above offences are non- cognizable.

Panaji (Goa) : The Superintendent of Police (SP) and the spokesperson of the police department Mr. Atmaram Deshpande informed that in the background of Diwali, Goa police will keep an eye on the activities of Sanatan Sanstha keeping in view the bomb blast at Mudgaon carried out during Diwali last year. (Few Goa police personnel were arrested for their involvement in drugs- trafficking and their  name has been put to shame in the whole world. Who is going to keep an eye on the Goa police to see that such incidents do not recur? – Editor SP)
