Those encouraging people like Kanhaiya Kumar, are anti-nationals : Abhay Vartak

Pro-Hindu organizations demand ban on pro-terrorists Kanhaiya Kumar for entering Pune

Pune : On 9th February 2016, a program was held at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, to commemorate completion of 3 years after hanging of terrorist Mohammad Afzal. President of JNU’s Students’ Union Kanhaiya Kumar gave a speech in this program in which anti-national slogans were raised meaning ‘We are sorry Afzal that your killers are still alive’, or ‘We shall fight till Kashmir gets independence and till India is destroyed’ etc. Considering his background, pro-Hindu organizations have requested police and Government administration that permission should not be granted to Kanhaiya Kumar for holding any program. Police should ban him from entering the district and those who are encouraging anti-national forces like Kanhaiya Kumar are also anti-nationals. Action should be taken against them; Government should find out who is providing funds for Kanhiayakumar’s tours. The above demand on behalf of all pr-Hindu organizations was made by Shri. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha in press conference. Kanhaiya Kumar is going to Pune on 24th April; so pro-Hindu organizations held a press conference at Pune Shramik Patrakar Sangh to protest against his going to Pune.

Pro-Hindu organizations will oppose till last moment even if Kanhaiya Kumar is granted permission for program and all lawful ways will be used to get his program cancelled, warned Shri. Abhay Vartak.

Shri. Rahul Kaul of Panun Kashmir, Shri. Mangesh Kulkarni, District-President of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’; Shri. Nitin Vatkar of ‘Akhil Pimpri Shiva-jayanti Mahotsav Samiti’ and Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti shared the dais with Shri. Vartak.

Shri. Vartak said, “A case of sedition has been filed against Kanhaiya Kumar and he has been granted interim bail. Kanhaiya Kumar has insulted this country; he is spoiling harmony by going to different parts of the country and causing harm to patriotic feelings nurtured by people of this country, endangering its integrity. Few anti-national organizations from Pune, which refer to themselves as ‘progressive’, have organized the program here. It is a conspiracy to generate feelings of anti-nationalism amongst youth and no patriotic citizen will tolerate such things. Not only programs of such wrong forces should be organized here but they should be prohibited from even stepping in Pune.”

Rahul Kaul said, “Atmosphere in Pune is quite harmonious. It will not be appropriate to welcome in Pune, any person who is involved in anti-national activities. Since past 26 years, Kashmiri people have been staying as refugees in their own country. None of the Governments have taken any firm stand for their welfare; still Kashmiri Hindus are loyal to interests of this country; whereas a person like Kanhaiya Kumar making anti-national statements is treated as an icon which is very unfortunate. Patriotism cannot be compromised at any cost and in any situation; therefore, Panun Kashmir will also oppose Kanhaiya Kumar’s program. Such program is likely to disturb social peace; therefore, the Government should not grant permission for any program that will support terrorists and create anti-India atmosphere in Pune.”

Shri. Mangesh Kulkarni, District-President of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ said, “Pune has own history of patriotism; right from the period of freedom fight. In such city, anti-national like Kanhaiya Kumar should not be allowed to come.”

Highlights : A media-representative asked in press conference that why should be there a problem if Kanhaiya Kumar comes here and people listen to what he has to say with big heart. Shri. Abhay Vartak then said, “Everyone has heard what kind of statements Kanhaiya Kumar has been making from time to time. There is no question of big heart or narrow-mindedness. Things, which can jeopardize national integrity, will be opposed and there cannot be any compromise.”
