First hand account of conversion activity in Coimbatore

Vaishakh Krushna Shashthi

Such alertness is required by Hindus to identify such acts of conversions and collect proofs and report.Further to this a police complaint can be lodged.

A devout Hindu, who is visitor of HJS’ site, gave below information of how Hindus are converted to Christianity:

I went to a water fall called ‘Kovai Kutralam’ for picnic about 20 km off Coimbatore on the foothills of the Western Ghats with my family on 11-05-09 , Monday.

Just while we were taking bath, a group of people, mostly poor, led by a man clad in white came there. Initially, they did not strike any difference. But, within a few minutes, their activity became clear. They had come for conversion of some dalits. A family was converting that day !

( note: in the above pictures, all are taking bath except the fully dressed and ‘solemn’  Christians and their victims)

They were doing that biblical activity of making the person immerse in water by pushing him backwards into the water in public and in full glare of the public without any fear. I took a few snaps with my cell phone . But no one objected. It was a public place and I wonder such activities.

While returning from the falls, that group of christians, were feasting with biriyani, no doubt provided by the church and left in a transport vehicle usually meant for goods.
