Attack on Sadhvi Pradnya in jail, Hindus demand action on JS

Pune (Maharashtra): Mumtaz Shaikh, a Muslim prisoner had assaulted Sadhi Pradnya Sinh, an accused in Malegaon bomb blast case, in the jail. No action has yet been taken against the prisoner for such a mental and physical assault on a woman. Therefore, action should be taken against the jail superintendent for doing nothing and against Mumtaz Shaikh for spreading communal hatred. This demand has been put forward by various pro-Hindu organizations from Pune, in a press conference held here yesterday. (Hindus must realize that Muslim organizations would not have had to make such a demand. Hindus should now overthrow Congress Government for stretching the limit of their tolerance! – Editor)

A letter with this demand has been sent to the State Home Minister by these organizations. There also warned to stage agitations if no action is taken. The press conference was attended, among others, by Smt. Himani Sawarkar, president of Hindu Mahasabha, Shri. Girish Dhumal of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Chandrashekhar Shinde of Lal Mahal Utsav Samiti, Shri. Raj Yadav of Pratapgad Utsav Samiti and Shri. Tikam of Bharat Jagruti Manch
