Panvel (Maharashtra): ‘Danik Samana’ has published news that Mr. Karunakaran Shetti and his family have been warned by the priests to leave ‘Rasayani’ Society if they do not wish to accept Christianity. (Pampering by the rulers have made the Christians so adamant. Hindus are compelled to accept Christianity. From this it is clear that Hindus have no savor. /savior? O, Hindus! Demand clarification from the rulers for making Hindus condition in their own country so pathetic! – Editor)

It is mentioned in the said news that due to the refusal of Shetty family to accept Christianity, the missionaries are torturing them. They have beaten them and debarred their 3 girls studying in ‘St. Joseph’ school. Since last 2 years they are at home. (Are the Hidutvawadi organisations going to take any step against this ! – Editor) The said family has asked a question, “Is it a crime on our part for sticking to Hinduism?” (We must have such proud Hindus like Mr. Shetty everywhere. – Editor)

Mr. Shetty is living at present in Vishvadeep Sahakaru Gruhanirman Sanstha at Riswadi (Gosalwadi) near Rasayani under constant threat from Christian priests The advertisement had mentioned about the ‘Catholik Society’ where Mr. Shetty had booked a flat not realizing that he might be the only Hindu in the Society; but unfortunately it was so. He came to live there in 2005. It was a shock to him to notice it. After some days Christian Priests and Nuns stated visiting them.

When Mr. Shetty was out of station his wife was pestered by them to accept Christianity by luring them in various ways. (It is a normal tactic played by Christians while converting others. Hence now Hindus should unite to debar these fanatics. – Editor) Mr. Shetty filed a complaint in the Police Station on 6th April 2005. After this many organizations rushed to their help. Police also tried to help them; but still this family is suffering tortures from them.
