Car carrying cow meets with accident at Moodbidri, occupants escape

Mangaluru (Karnataka) : An Alto car carrying a cow in an inappropriate and inhuman way was found by locals and members of Bajrang Dal at Paper Mills in Moodbidri on Monday December 1.

 

 

The three unidentified occupants of the car fled from the scene.

The car was moving from Bantwal towards Moodbidri with Bengaluru registration of KA 01 R 4726.

As per the statements by eyewitnesses, the Alto car was moving at a high speed and got stuck on the edge of the road, making it difficult to move further. The onlookers who inquired grew suspicious by the behaviour of occupants of the car. Growing anxious, the three managed to flee from the scene.

The cow and lethal weapons were found in the car. The cow was rescued by the Bajrang Dal members and the locals.

Moodbidri police who visited the site confiscated the car, the weapons and the cow. Further investigations are on.
