Teresa used me to get sainthood: Monica Bestra

Dangram (Bengal): Monica Bestra has openly made a serious allegation against ‘Missionaries of Charity’ that she was lured and cheated and poverty was forced on her by missionaries of Mother Teresa. (Hindus, falling prey to missionaries’ bait, must realize the truth – Editor). The allegation was made by Bestra at her native place South Dinapur in Bengal in the presence of media persons. News related to this incident has been published in a Kannada daily ‘Hosdigant’.

Bestra said, “I had made a statement that I was cured of cancer when I was just touched by Mother Teresa but I had fallen prey to the bait. I was assured that they would take the responsibility of my children’s education and was promised financial aid.” She said that she was taken to Vatican City on 19th October 2003 and was presented before Pope John Paul just to show that she was cured of cancer by Teresa with mere touch. Till Mother Teresa was conferred with sainthood, ladies from Missionaries of Charity used to visit her house frequently; but once the purpose was over, they have conveniently forgotten her. Now they do not come and she was facing lot of hardships and leading life that was full of adversities.
