Conversion of Hindus under police protection!

Ichalkaranji: Christian missionaries had sought police protection for the ‘Baptista’ ceremony held on the banks of Panchaganga River. Before that, devout Hindus had asked for permission for staging demonstrations against the conversions; but the permission was denied. There was police vigil on the banks of River Panchaganga to avoid any untoward incident. All devout Hindus gathered at Sree Ganesh temple. These devout Hindus took out a march protesting against conversion of Hindus. Police stopped the march near a temple when the participants became a little aggressive. They crossed the barriers erected by police prohibiting entry but the Hindus went ahead and later stopped on the request of the police. They were raising slogans. Police arrested 86 demonstrators who crossed the barriers.

Sadguru Bal Maharaj said during the demonstrations, "All Hindu deities have weapons in their hands. When devotees take to the streets, it will be very hard on those who are coming here from abroad to convert Hindus. Efforts are being made to divide Hindus. Missionaries are hired for conversions; 80000 crores of rupees have come to India. It is an international conspiracy. Today, if we accept their God, later, we may have to accept even their Rule also. Change of Dharma means change of nation and change of nation means to turn a traitor. Recently, missionary’s ploy to convert was foiled at Shahapur. Therefore, to take revenge of that insult, Christian missionaries conducted the program. Police provide security for conversion programs and Hindus have no freedom to protest against them."

Shri. Anna Hazare of Shiv Sena said that conversion is an attack on Hindus. Leaders of VHP, BJP, Shiv Sena and other Hindu organizations participated in the program.

Missionaries were not ready to disclose the names of converted Hindus and demanded police action against such demand. Reporters attending the press conference immediately protested against Christian for such demand.    

(Christians are free to do whatever they want and all prohibitions are only for Hindus. Hindus must take such action that missionaries’ activities will be curbed. Hindus must unite and retaliate; otherwise time will come that they will have to go to church every Sunday.-Editor)
