Hunger strike against Govt and pro-Christian media

Ichalkaranji: Shri. Chandrakant Chavan from Shahapur along with 7 others was tricked and converted to Christianity. People involved in their ‘Baptism’ were beaten up by enraged locals. In this connection, police took 14 persons in custody. Recently devout Hindus staged a day’s hunger strike as mark of protest against the State Government and irresponsible pro-Christian media agencies for publishing distorted news about the incident. The hunger strike was observed under the leadership of Sadguru Bal Maharaj. Shankarachrya Vidyashankar Bharati of Karveer Peeth took the converted persons back to Hindu religion.

Sadguru Bal Maharaj said that first time, missionaries have been caught red handed and people have reacted to their activities. Nobody has deliberately taken law in his hand. In fact, there has been breach of law at the hands of the missionaries. Conversions are taking place in various parts of the country. Hindus should not be selfish and look beyond self. It is the duty of every one of us to serve our nation and Dharma. Hindus are equally responsible for such incidents of conversions. This country will not exist if Hindus are annihilated. It is the ploy of the missionaries to convert Hindus and attack Hindu religion.

The converted Hindus were taken back into Hindu Dharma by Shankaracharya Vidyashankar Bharati of Karveer Peeth. Before that they were sanctified. Shankaracharya appreciated the mission and advised to keep up the good work for protecting Dharma. Shri. Chhabra of VHP condemned the media for ridiculing and defaming devout Hindus and media’s policy of wooing people following other religions. It was said that instead of condemning police, we should condemn people electing such anti-Hindu representatives.

Shri. Nazare of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti said that the secular Congress Government is in fact against Hindu Dharma. If incidents like conversions are suppressed, it would increase in future. The Govt. is doing injustice to majority Hindus. Rulers are wooing Muslims and Christians for their political needs. Coming together of Hindus is a warning to anti-Hindu Government.

(Congratulations to devout Hindus from Ichalkaranji for coming together against anti-Hindus. The no. of Hindus thus lured and forcefully converted into Christianity is quite high. Something needs to be done to put a stop to such conversions. For this, Hindus should have knowledge and should be proud of their Dharma. There is no alternative to imparting education to people about Hindu Dharma. – Editor)
