Devout Hindus stops conversion in MP

Chopda: Christian missionaries were planning to convert 25 villagers from Kharpada, a tribal place on the border of Madhya Pradesh in Chopda taluqa. The program was called as ‘Atma-shanti kendra’ and necessary permission was obtained to hold the program. Under this program, tribal population was lured to convert to Christianity and greatness of Jesus Christ was hammered on them. Most of the population is very poor and uneducated tribals. Missionaries were offering money to them for getting converted. This plot was foiled by members of RSS, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. These missionaries have been terrorizing people and threatening them that if they don’t agree for conversion, they will not be allowed to carry on their trade. A few years ago, there was not a single Christian in the village but now 25% of the population have fallen prey to missionaries bait  and have adopted Christianity. When members of RSS, Sanatan Sanstha and HJS tried to collect information about the ‘Atma-shanti’ program, the concerned were not ready to give any details about the program. The members, however, learnt that 25 persons will be asked to take a dip in water and converted. The members tried to explain to these 25 persons, ploy of the missionaries; but none of them was in a mood to listen. Therefore, they lodged a complaint in the police station. Police assured that they would interfere only if the program involved conversion of Hindus. Accordingly, police made enquiry. Due to police enquiry, however, ‘Atma-shanti’ program took place without taking a dip in water. Persons lodging complaint have been threatened to be ostracized. In this village, Christians oppose celebration of festivals like Ganeshotsava; they abuse Hindu deities. If complaint against this is lodged with the police, they do not take any action against the culprits.

(Congratulations to members of the RSS, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for foiling the ploy of missionaries to convert Hindus. Such acts of missionaries are the result of anti-Hindu policy of rulers. Does this country belong to Hindus or Christians? Police are prompt in taking action against Hindus; but try to avoid taking action against followers of other religions. Hindus must realize that nobody is willing to protect Hindus’ interests. Therefore, Hindus should be ready to protect themselves and Hindu Dharma. – Editor)
