Jaipur: A missionary was on Sunday severely assaulted here for allegedly preaching Christianity. Walter Masih said it was an act by those who are against Christianity.
"I am unaware whether they were from Hindu groups. I am serving the people and I want an unbiased probe into the matter," he told over the phone.
Masih claimed he was manhandled by over 20 people at his rented house in Nandpuri and received multiple injuries.
Circle Officer of Sodala, Rakesh Puri, said Masih was teaching Christianity and a case has been registered against 20 people for alleging beating him.
