Maha. Government going the Aurangzeb way!

Kolhapur: The well-known exponent of Hindu Dharma, Bharatacharya Shri. S. G. Shevade in a discourse organized at the Mahalaskhmi temple on ‘Hindu Dharma’ said, ‘the State Government is trying to turn people to atheism by proposing to pass the Black Magic Act and second, aiming to empty coffers of temples and religious institutions through the proposed Act for taking over their management. The rulers are wooing Muslims for their votes. To prevent such assaults on Hindu Dharma, it is necessary for Hindus to unite, otherwise their very existence will be in danger.’

He said further that after mismanagement, malpractices and corruption in every field, the ‘secular’ Government has turned its evil eye on temples and religious institutions. Muslim places of worship are excluded to get their votes. In such a situation, the day is not far when the country will be ruled by kings like Aurangzeb.

‘It is a matter of faith whether one wants to perform puja or do chanting. Dharma only advises people so that they get bliss by doing such acts and there is no compulsion of any sort in spirituality. Therefore, there is no need to pass such Acts,’ he said about the Black Magic Act.
