Foiling conversion attempt reminds us of Narsale’s gallantry

Pune: Shri. Milind Ekbote, the President of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj Pratishthan and a municipal councilor of Pune Municipal Corporation was addressing a gathering at Chakan in Pune district for felicitating a few staunch Hindus. About 3 months back, Christian Missionaries had planned to convert Hindus at Chakan. Although the administration was informed, nothing was done by the Government to stop the conversion. Finally, local staunch Hindus angry with the apathy of the Government got together and foiled the attempt of the Christian Missionaries.

31 staunch Hindus were arrested on the occasion. Shri. Ekbote said that such gallantry is expected from youths all over the country else the Hindu religion will have very bad times ahead. These staunch Hindu youths stopped conversion of Hindus and reminded one of Firangoji Narsale, the incident was a repetition of the courage shown by Firangoji.

A function was therefore, held to felicitate all staunch Hindus. A resolve was made in the meeting that at least one family converted to another religion would be brought back to under the fold of Hindu religion. Members of many Hindu organizations like the Bajarang Dal, Shiv Sena, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti so also other local staunch Hindus attended the program.
