India will become Hindu Rashtra : Dr. Togadia

Bhopal : Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Praveen Togadia has asserted that India would become a Hindu Rashtra. He was addressing the Bajrang Dal concluding session of the three-day Bajrang Dal national convention at Chhola Dusshera ground here on Sunday.

The Bajrang Dal and the VHP have demanded the government to ensure the Ram temple is built in Ayodhya at the same place where Lord Ram took birth. The saffron outfits have also urged the government to make a law to end cow slaughter.

Togadia said the VHP is firm on building the Ram temple at the very place where Lord Ram took birth. He warned the site of construction should not change at all and no new mosque should be built in the holy city. Togadia further said we are clear that the Ram temple issue can be resolved by passing legislation in the Parliament.

He said that being in power at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh the government must make efforts to pave the way for construction of the temple. The government must do away with all hurdles in the building of the temple, he said. Togadia said the law to end cow slaughter should be enacted in the parliament.

If the government can wake up till mid-night for GST, then it can also work to end cow slaughter, he said adding Prime Minister Modi should immediately prepare a Central legislation in Parliament to this effect. Muslims are illegally slaughtering the holy cow, he alleged.

The Hindus of the country just want security and self respect, he said adding in the country of Hindus, they are forced to leave their place. Earlier in the day Bajrang Dal passed several resolutions on the last day of its national executive meeting including urging the central government to pave way for building Ram Temple at Ayodhya, legislation to outlaw cow slaughter in the country and on security threats posed by Rohingyas.

The Bajrang Dal has also planned to launch a mass membership campaign from November 19 to December 5, with a target of 50 lakh members in the country.
