Greater Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to carry out modernization Deonar Slaughter House. BMC has decided to increase capacity of Deonar Slaughter house to 15,000 animals per day. These animals are mostly Cows, which are treated Holy as per Hindu Dharma. Also this slaughter house is inviting more and more diseases to Mumbai.

All Hindus are requested to sign the petition to protest modernization of Deonar Slaughter House on the following link:

The matter given in the petition is as followed :

Protest Deonar Slaughterhouse modernization

To:  Comissioner MCGM

To,
Chief Comissioner,
Municipal corporation of greater mumbai,

Respected Madam,

I strongly protest your decision to modernize Deonar slaughter house. This is one of the worst decision taken by BMC for mumbai and i have deep regrets for BMCs decision.

When the world is moving towards being vegetarians, Mumbai’s BMC takes its worst ever decision to modernise its slaughter house.

As per the promise given to jain community by BMC department : – deonar slaughter house is supposed to be for the non vegeterians of mumbai. Now modernizing means breaking that promise , and killing more animals for the sake of bringing more business and inviting more diseases to mumbai.

We call upon MCGM in the State of maharashtra to accept our just and fair demand of stoppping all the efforts for modernising deonar slaughter house.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
