Staunch Hindus thwart Christian’s ploy to convert Hindus

Gadhinglaj (Maharashtra): ‘New Life Fellowship’, a Christian Organization from Mumbai propagates Christianity through conducting discourses. A Christian Missionary organized one such discourse at Sane Guruji Education Credit Society on Kadgaon road. Some staunch Hindus learnt that in that program, Hindus were going to be converted. Soon after they heard about it, they went to the place and foiled their ploy.

About 100 people from surrounding taluqas including officers of Panchayat Samiti and lecturers of junior colleges were present in the program. As the organizers started propagation of Christian religion, Hindus confronted them. There was a wrangle between the two groups. Finally the police reached the scene and sent everyone back. Shri. Prakash Gharge, the Police Inspector said that the Christian missionaries have assured that they would stop ‘prasar’ activities hence the matter stands closed.
