Devout Hindus in the Campaign Against Vande Mataram Fatwa at Shivaji Chowk, Indur

Indur (Nizamabad):Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised an unique protest in Indur city in Andhrapradesh against the Fatwa issued by Darul-uloom Deoband against reciting of Vande Mataram. Opposing the Jamiat-e-ulema Hind's resolution of non-reciting of Vande Mataram by Muslims atleast 60 Hindu Dharmabhimanis gathered at Shivaji Chowk in Indur city. The protest was unique because all the attendees sang the Vande Mataram in public standing with their hands folded. The media rushed to the spot and captured the glimpse and also took interview of HJS spokesperson Mr. Pranav Sharma.

The protest started with Milk Abhishekam to the statue of Shivaji Maharaj and hoisting of Saffron flag infront of the statue. After singing the Vande Mataram HJS Indur district spokesperson Mr. Pranav Sharma said to the attendees and mediapersons that singing Vande Mataram is not an issue of Likes and Dislikes. Those who have real love for nation should sing Vande Mataram and show respect to the national song. Those who have issued the Fatwa and those who have passed the resolution in Deoband are against the National values and hence HJS demands the immediate arrest of these persons.

BJP city president Mr. Jugal Kishore Pandey, VHP city president Dr.Konda Ashashree, VHP leader Dr. Kalbhairav Sreenivas, Bajarang Dal District Sharirik Pramukh Mr. Patel Prasad, Hindu Vahini leader Mr.Jagadish, ABVP city president Mr. Shiva Goud, Mr. Aniruddh, Mr.Prashant, Mr.Kalicharan and Mr. Soujit of Shri Samartha Ramdas Yuva Mahasanghatan, Mr. Shrihari Goud and Mr. Satyanarayanchary of HJS were also present on this occasion.

Major state Channels like ETV, TV9, MAA TV, Saakshi TV, Maha TV etc and Local TV channels, Newspaper reporters from Eenadu, Saakshi, Andhra Jyoti, Andhra bhumi, Surya etc were present. A half an hour special programme with interview of Mr. Pranav Sharma was telecasted in the local IN digital channel.
