HJS’ ‘Ranaragini’ branch begins at Halliyal (Karnataka)

Women resolve to fight against repression 

Halliyal (Karnataka): H. H. Krushnanada Swami performed ‘puja’ of the picture of Sree Durgadevi while inaugurating the branch of ‘Ranaragini’, a venture of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The program held at Ganesha Kalyan Mandap on 30th October was started with blowing of conch and lighting the lamp. The eminent speakers were felicitated by presenting them a shawl and coconut. Mrs. Rekha Mangaonkar introduced the devout members of audience to the activities of HJS in Karnataka. The women attending the program made a resolve to fight against repression. The program was attended by about 250 devout Hindus that included many girl students from the local school. Mrs. Asha Bongale did compering of the program.

It is the establishment of ‘Sanatan Dharma Shakti’ – H. H. Krushnananda Swami

In his guidance, H. H. Krushnananda Swami said, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj worshipped his ‘Kuldevata’ and established Hindu Kingdom. Similarly, Sanatan Dharma’s shakti has been established today. It is necessary that Hindus should educate themselves in matters related to their Dharma and they unite. A sister from every house should come forward and join this crusade. Every woman should take part in fighting against ‘Love Jihad’. Besides giving birth to a child, the other honourable thing a woman can do is inculcate proper values in her child. Jijabai instilled moral values in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and motivated him to establish Hindvi Swaraj; due to which we are able to live as Hindus today; else Bharat would have faced ‘Islamization.’  Swamiji concluded his speech with advising all women to become ‘Ranaraginis’ and fight against their repression.

Miss Sphurti Benkanwari of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mrs. Chandrakala Ambekar of HJS also guided the audience on the occasion.
