PROTEST RALLY OF HJS AT PANAJI

Panaji (Goa): The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in association with Lord Ganesh devotees and other devout Hindus held a protest rally at Panaji today to protest against anti-Hindu artist Dr. Subodh Kerkar for painting and exhibiting denigrating pictures of Lord Ganesh, Daily Lokmat for supporting him by publishing the said denigrating paintings and the issue of opposition to the hoarding of the ‘killing of Afzal Khan’ by Muslims and atrocities on Hindus by the police in Miraj. Prior to this, such protest rallies have been held in Mapusa, Bicholim and Margao. Members of the Amma Bhagwaan sect, Shivsena, etc had participated in the rally at Panaji. Around 250 devout Hindus participated in the protest rally at Panaji today.
