Hindu Dharnajagruti Sabha held successfully at Priol, Goa

Hindus need to unite against fanatics ! – Mahesh Parkar, Devout Hindu Litterateur

Priol (Goa) : Hindus are being attacked at various places. If Hindus do not abide by Dharma and do not unite then such attacks may occur in Goa too and if it continues like this then India would turn into Taliban in no time. It is the need of the hour for Hindus to unite to oppose fanatics, stated Shri. Mahesh Parkar, a devout Hindu and a Litterateur from Shiroda, Ponda. Shri. Mahesh Parkar, the main speaker, made this appeal to the gathering at the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 6th February at Sree Santeri Shantadurga Hall at Nagar, Priol. Mrs. Anandi Wankhede of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Govind Chodankar, North-Goa convener of HJS were present on the occasion.

After blowing of the conch shell, Shri. Damodar Vaze and Shri. Siddhesh Karandikar of Sanatan Sadhak-Purohit Pathshala, recited the Ved mantras. The sabha commenced after lighting of the lamp at the hands of Shri. Mahesh Parkar. Pujya Shri. Sitaram Desai and Pujya (Mrs.) Malini Desai, Saints of Sanatan were present at the Sabha. Sarpanch Shri. Damodar Naik taking lead to stop gambling in Veling – Priol – Kunkolim panchayat area and Shri. Ashok Gawade, VPK Urban Cooperative Society’s Managing Director giving a helping hand to the mission of Sanatan Sanstha were felicitated at the hands of Shri. Mahesh Parkar on this occasion. Shri. Sanjeev Naik of HJS gave introduction of the mission of the Samiti. Thereafter Mrs. Anandi Wankhede spoke on ‘Terrorism of rationalists and pressure on devout Hindus’ Shri. Govind Chodankar of HJS spoke on ‘Need of Hindu Nation and directions for efforts to achieve it’. Kum. Shambhavi Vaze and Shri. Rahul Vaze compered and vote of thanks were given by Shri. Suryakant Satarkar.
