Exhibition held by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS at Ujjain (MP)

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) : ‘Kartik Mela (fair)’ is organized during the month of ‘Kartik’ on the banks of Kshipra River by State Administration. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have jointly held an exhibition on various issues related to nation and Dharma in this fair. This exhibition will be held till 24^th December.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 4^th December by Mayor, Shri. Sonu Gehlot and chartered accountant, Shri. Prashant Sharma by lighting of lamp. Mayor, Shri. Gehlot said after going round the exhibition that Sanatan Sanstha and HJS are working as per the need of the period. It is a very good exhibition. Such exhibition should be held even during ‘Kumbh-Mela’. I am ready to extend help for their activities. CA, Shri. Sharma said, “All of us are trying to emulate western culture. Nobody tries to explain what our culture is; therefore, this drive undertaken by Sanatan on Dharmashikshan is commendable. I will like to join their activities.” Shri. Gehlot, Shri. Sharma and Ujjain Municipality also extended cooperation for organizing the exhibition.

Highlights

1. Place for setting up the exhibition, electricity, table and chairs were made available by Municipal Corporation for free and there is demand to set up similar exhibition even during ‘Kumbh-Mela’.
2. Mahant and founder Swami Kamalesh Maharaj of Shri. Shiva-Shakti Dham, Ujjain could not attend the program due to some difficulty; therefore, he conveyed his blessings for the exhibition.
3. Boards giving information on western and Hindu culture by comparing the two cultures attracted attention of people.
4. Shri. Rahul Sharma and his friends from Badnagar, Ujjain came to see the fair. They got strong fragrance when they visited the exhibition. They tried to understand activities of the two organizations and bought many books.
