Third ‘Vajapeya Soma-yaaga’ begins at Omkareshwar, MP

Madhya Pradesh : Under the able guidance of ‘Ashwamedhayaji’ His Holiness Nana Kale Guruji, from ‘Shri. Yogiraj Veda Vidnyan Ashram’, Barshi, Solapur, Maharashtra, 25 ‘Somayagas’ have been proposed to be performed under ‘Saumik Suvrushti Yojana’ with the aim of getting adequate rainfall in the year 2016 and eradication of period of crisis. These ‘Somayagas’ are also going to be performed at other places along with 12 ‘Jyotirlingas’. On 21st November, the third ‘Vajapeya Soma-Yaaga’ has been started at the famous Jyotirlinga of Omkareshwar. (Soma-yaaga which is performed in ‘Sharad Rhutu’ is known as Vajapeya Soma-Yaaga’. ‘Vaaj’ means food and ‘Peya’ means water) This ‘Soma-Yaaga’ has been sponsored by Bhuranand Ashram, Mehtakhedi, Narmada-bank, Madhya Pradesh. The vow for this ‘Yaaga’ was taken by Shri. Arvind Bhide and his wife.

The hosts of this ‘Soma-Yaaga’ are going to be Ahitagni Dixit Daulal Joshi and his wife Sou. Sangita Joshi from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The ‘Soma-Yaaga’ will be concluded on 26th November.
