Ministers like Udayanidhi Stalin, Priyank Kharge, etc., are comparing Sanatan Dharma with Dengue, Malaria, HIV, etc., and talking about eradication of Sanatan Dharma, as is done by the extremists and urban Naxals, even though the Constitution and laws do exist in India. As if it was not enough, even in Maharashtra, journalists like Nikhil Wagle, who claims to be a progressive, and NCP’s Jitendra Awhad are declaring their support for the above views and criticising Sanatan Dharma by comparing it with the rot that has infested this country. On the other hand, the Supreme Court has clearly stated in its order dated the 28th of April 2023 that the Government should file an FIR without waiting for anyone to lodge a complaint, in case someone tried to hurt the sentiments of any section of society through hate speech, while the delay on the Government’s part in filing FIR, would be considered as contempt of the Supreme Court. Despite such a clear order, why has no case been filed against those speaking against Sanatan Dharma, which is followed by more than 100 crore people in this country ? A drive will, therefore, be undertaken under ‘I am protector of Sanatan Dharma campaign’ for the protection of Sanatan Dharma and against those giving hate speeches for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma. Mr Ramesh Shinde, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) informed that under this drive, lectures-meetings would be held to create awareness amongst followers of Sanatan Dharma and cases would be filed against people giving hate speeches.

Sanatan Dharma is recognised for teaching tolerance, brotherhood, and welfare of the world, but the urban Naxals are constantly hatching plots for the eradication of ‘Sanatan Dharma’. Initially, the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) raised slogans about dividing this country. Later, conferences were organised under ‘Dismantling Global Hindutva’ to eradicate ‘Hindutva’. When there was opposition to such conferences, the organisers claimed that they were not against Hindu Dharma but against political ‘Hindutva’. Now, speeches are given for the eradication of ‘Sanatan Dharma’. What is the difference between Owaisi talking about the elimination of 100 crore Hindus and such hate speeches ? In the affidavit filed by the Maharashtra Director-General of Police, it is reported that 30 cases have been filed in connection with hate speeches. Most of the cases are, however, filed against the pro-Hindu leaders for their speeches given during ‘Hindu Jana-Akrosh Morcha’. These cases are filed at the behest of an organisation called ‘Citizens for Justice and Peace’ led by the leftist activist Teesta Setalvad, associated with urban Naxals. The same organisation has not, however, filed any case against either Stalin, Priyank Kharge, Nikhil Wagle, or Awhad for their hate speeches. It, therefore, shows the conspiracy of the urban Naxals, with their leftist ideology, to eliminate Sanatan Dharma. HJS has demanded an inquiry into these people by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), besides the demand of filing cases against them.

‘I am protector of Sanatan Dharma campaign’ will be undertaken by HJS to expose the conspiracy of these urban Naxals against Sanatan Dharma and to make the Governments take action against them. Mr Shinde informed that HJS would also organise lectures elucidating the importance of Sanatan Dharma under this campaign.
