Kolhapur : The highest legal institution of India passed verdict against Pakistan and terrorists Hafiz Saeed and Kasab for their involvement in bomb blasts of 26th November 2008 in Mumbai. Terrorist Ajmal Kasab was even hanged; but former police officer Shamasuddin Mushrif has been misleading people on this issue through his book titled “Who killed Karkare?” by alleging that pro-Hindu organizations were involved in this attack. He has refused to accept the verdict of Supreme Court; thus insulting the highest judiciary institution of this country. It is glorification of enemy country and contempt of Court; therefore, the said book should be banned. ProHindu organisations staged demonstrations at Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk at 4.00 p.m. for the above demand. Shri. Sambhajirao Kokare, Dy. District-Chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Raju Yadav, its Karveer taluka Chief, Shri. Nitish Kulkarni and Shri. Sandip Kate of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’, Shri. Mahadev Chougule, President, ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’, Belgaum; Shri. 1. Mushrif’s book ‘Who killed Karkare?’ supporting terrorist Kasab and Pakistan and accusing Hindus should be banned and Mushrif should also be banned from giving talks on the subject in BJP’s regime.
  2. If Mushrif talking against the judicial system of this country, makes false accusations against Sanatan, will it be surprising ?
  3. Former judge B G Kolase Patil, claiming to be a progressive person  and Mushrif are in the habit of making baseless noise to get publicity.
  4. Mushrif’s brother Hasan Mushrif was a Minister during Congress regime; therefore, ban could not be imposed on the book ‘Who killed Karkare?’
  5. If Mushrif is so sure, he should provide proofs to investigating agencies instead of writing books and creating communal rift.
