A collective committee meeting of all Hindu Organisations was organized and conducted by Vivekananda Peravati at Nehru hall, Iyanavaram, Chennai on the auspicious day of Gokulashtami, 5th September.2015. During the meeting a press conference was convened under the leadership of Shri. Vasanthakumarji.

Resolutions were passed during the press conference. Some of the important resolutions were to take initiative to protect cows during ‘Bakri Id’ on 24th September 2015, to conduct Ganeshotsav celebrations at 5008 places throughout Tamilnadu, to take the Ganeshotsav procession through the conflict area of Triplicane, Chennai, to take stringent action against the culprits of ambur violence, to protect the wealth of the temples, to stop all friendship ties with Pakistan and to be ready to wage war against them.

Around 23 Hindu organizations including HJS participated in the program. Sanatan Sanstha’s dharmashikshan video in tamil on Ganeshotsav was shown by HJS Co-ordinator, Shri Sriram Luktuke. Shri. Jaikumar briefed audience about the video.

Around 50 people participated in program & approx. 6 to 8 media (visual / print) were present for press conference.

Highlights:

  1. Some of the Hindutvawadi leaders were very happy to see HJS’ “Ganesh utsav – How it should be, how it shouldn’t be” in Tamil and they have requested copy of same for prasar & creating awareness in society.

  2. This time HJS was represented by new activists, but knowing they are from HJS all the committee members showed respect, including the main organiser. HJS karyakarta felt this is just because of the confidence society has on on HJS’ selfless work towards Dharma & Rashtra, nothing at individual level (like political leaders). We are grateful to Bhagawan Shrikrushna for making us medium for His divine mission, that too on Gokul Ashtami.
