Simhasth Parva, Nasik : ‘Dhvajarohan’ of all 3 ‘Akhadas’ to be held today !

‘Sadhus’ from all over India arrive at Nasik !

Nasik (Maharashtra) : ‘Dhvajarohan’ of all 3 ‘Akhada’ viz. ‘Akhil Bharatiya Shri. Panch Digambar Ani Akhada’, ‘Akhil Bharatiya Nirmohi Ani Akhada’ and ‘Akhil Bharatiya Nirvani Akhada’ will take place on 19th August at 8.00 a.m. and Simhastha will officially start after ‘Dhvajarohan’.

Sadhus from all over the country had come to attend this Dhvajrohan (flag hoisting) ceremony at Nasik on the auspicious occasion of Simhasta Parva. On 14th July, ‘Dhvajarohan’ of ‘Purohit Mahasangh’ was carried out and Simhastha Parva was begun. Since then, everyone were awaiting for  the ‘Dhvajarohan’ of all ‘Akhadas’. On 29th August, there will be first ‘Rajyogi (Shahi) Snan’.

 

‘Dhvajarohan’ in presence of Shri. Digambar Ani Akhada’s all-India ‘Mahamantri’ Shri. Mahant Vaishnavdasji Maharaj said, “Dharmadhvaj pujan’ will be performed between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. followed by ‘Dhvajarohan’ of ‘Akhada’ in the presence of Shri. Mahant Krushnadasji Maharaj.

All ‘Sadhus’, Saints, Mahants, Mahamandaleshwars and devotees will attend this function. The ‘Dharmadhvaj’ of this ‘Akhada’ has 5 colours viz. white, red, black, green and yellow. White colour represents ‘sattvik’ quality; red represents bravery, black is for destruction of enemy, green for patriotism and yellow is a symbol of peace.

‘Dharmadhvaj pujan’ commenced by reciting Vedik mantras at ‘Akhil Bharatiya Nirmohi Ani Akhada’

Shri. Mahant Rajendradasji Maharaj said, “Dharmadhvaj pujan will be performed after reciting Vedik mantras between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. and ‘Dhvaj’ will be raised in the presence of all Sadhus and Saints. ‘Akhada’s ‘Dhvaj’ is white with golden border. White colour denotes ‘sattvikta’ and golden is a sign of valour.”

In Nirvani Akhada also, ‘puja’ will be performed at 7.00 a.m. followed by hoisting of the flag.

Saint-meet organized

The arc erected by Municipal Corporation in the name of Ramanandacharya on the occasion of Simhastha Parva, will be inaugurated after ‘dhvajarohan’ (flag hoisting) ceremony of all 3 Akhadas gets over. After that, ‘Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad’ will be conducting Saint-meet at the same place. Shri. Mahant Gyandasji Maharaj, the President of ‘Akhada Parishad’, chiefs of all 3 ‘Akhadas’, all ‘Sadhus’, Saints and ‘Mahants’ will be attending the ‘sabha’.

Presence of eminent personalities

BJP’s national President Amit Shah, Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra State’s Water Resources Minister, Shri. Girish Mahajan, who is also the Gurdian Minister of Nasik District, will attend this function.
