Issue of anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’

• Serving notice to Hindus for creating awareness towards anti-Hindu film in BJP ruled State as was done even during Congress regime, is a sign of ‘bad days’ ahead !

• Hindu Rashtra is necessary to bring change in this situation !

Is this Pakistan that police are taking unnecessary action against lawful acts of Hindus ? Will police take similar action against any non-Hindu ?

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Representation was submitted to the District Collector and local theatre-owners on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 7th April demanding that the anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’ should not be released. Sangli city police have issued a notice on 9th April to Shri. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS under Section 149 of Criminal Procedure Code warning that legal action would be taken against him and he would be personally held responsible in case there is any law and order problem. (All HJS agitations are staged in lawful manner; even then, issue of such notice to an activist of HJS by police is demoralization of Hindus ! It shows that creating awareness; submitting representations has also become a crime in BJP’s State ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. Shri. Retharekar was called to zonal police office on 9th April at 2:00 p.m. He was asked about the demonstrations proposed to be staged against the film. Shri. Retharekar said that HJS has only submitted a representation about Hindus religious sentiments getting hurt through the above film and the Government should take a note of the same. He also informed that similar representation was submitted to even theatre-owners appealing to not release this film.

2. At 7:00 p.m. on the same day, Shri. Retharekar was called at city police station and was served a notice. It has been stated in the notice that ‘Clause 37 (1) (3) is in force in the district; so follow legal path for your demand. Do not stage agitation in illegal manner. Still, if you stage such agitation and if any law and order problem is created due to the same, you will be held responsible and legal action will be taken; with this notice as a proof’.

3. Representation was submitted to the concerned officers from Intelligence Department of Sangli city police station; even then another policeman constantly called and asked for the representation while it was being submitted to the District Collector. 4. The film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’ has been released in one theatre on 10th April in Sangli under police protection. (Police rubbing salt into Hindus wounds are also anti-Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
