People should take members of standing committee to task for evading important tasks.

Will the Administration dare to do such things in matters related to non-Hindus ?

Nasik (Maharashtra) : The standing committee of Municipal Corporation has cancelled tasks included in making arrangements for ‘Kumbh-Parva’; such as widening of road at Sardar Chowk, Malegaon Bus-stand and traditional highway route; besides sewage centre on Gangapur Road. The amount of Rs. 17.66 crores deposited for reclamation of land with the office of District land-reclamation for carrying out the above tasks has been cancelled by the standing committee; but this committee has approved allocation of Rs. 37.55 crores for other tasks. (The Standing Committee owes an explanation to people for deviating from carrying out important tasks. Lack of unity amongst Hindus is the reason for such things ! Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is therefore, necessary to change this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. Out of total proposals submitted for reclamation of lands, proposals to reclaim 65 lands submitted by Municipal Corporation to District Land Reclamation Officer, were cancelled.

2. It was, therefore, decided during the meeting of standing committee, to utilize sum of Rs. 55.22 crores paid as deposit for land reclamation, for other work related to Simhastha.

3. Rahul Dive said that the standing committee had already cancelled proposal for sewage centre on Gangapur Road and widening of traditional route on 12 meter stretch. The proposed place for sewage centre is in a ditch and would not be useful, was accepted by even the Municipal Commissioner. Proposal for widening of road between Malegaon bus-stand and Sardar Chowk would also not be proper. The 3 proposals should be cancelled and the funds should be allocated for remaining 7 jobs.

4. Shivaji Gangurde, Prof. Kunal Wagh expressed their opinion as all 3 proposals should be cancelled. The Chairman Rahul Dhikale then dismissed the 3 proposals and refused to allocate the amount of Rs. 17.66 crores.

5. The members complained that in the name of Simhastha work, other civil work was being neglected. (When the Municipal Corporation is not doing work related to Simhastha, how will it do both the jobs at the same time ?- Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

6. Sachin Marathe said that the officers were making fuss about Simhastha and delaying files related to other pending work.
