Chiplun (Ratnagiri) : In the holy land of Bhagawan Sree Parashuram, a symbol of 'Kshatra-tej' and 'Brahma-tej', 'Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha' was organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds of 'Pawan Talao'. The meeting was attended by about 3000 devout Hindus. The main aim of the meeting was to protest against denigration of Hindu deities, proposed anti-Hindu Acts and assaults in various forms against Hindu Dharma.



The chief guests included Pujya Madhav Maharaj Shivanikar, the President of Warakari-Fadakari Dindi Samaj, Shri. Dhananjay Sudhakar Chitale, a great scholar in scriptures written by saints, Shri. Rajan Dali, RSS 'Sangha-chalak' for North Ratnagiri district, Shri. Vinay Panawalkar of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Ramesh Shinde of HJS.



The meeting began with recitation of 'Vedas' by Vedamurti Shri. Salaskar and his disciples from Vasudevananda Saraswati Pathashala, Shree Kshetra Deravan. In the divine atmosphere created due to the recitation of 'veda-mantras' and saffron flags hoisted all round the ground, Ha. Bha. Pa. Madhav Maharaj Shivanikar lighted the lamp.



The eminent personalities attending the meeting were later felicitated followed with their speeches. Shri. Govind Bharadwaj, a member of HJS, explained the objectives of activities undertaken by HJS. The program was compered by Dr. Sameer Ghorapade and Mrs. Devayani Bane. Meetings have been arranged on 31st January in Shiva temple at Sree Deva Veereshwar Mandir, Khed and Sree Vitthal temple, Dapoli at 4.30 p.m. with those who showed interest in participating in HJS activities.

Lord Mecauley education system has produced society of blacks who are blind followers of Western culture - Rajan Dali, RSS

Owing to education system introduced by Lord Mecauley, there is a stratum of society that is although black in colour; believes in Western culture. These people have no sense of nationalism, they do not know who the true leaders are nor do they know anything about our traditions and our objects of worship. They are obsessed with secularism since there is ignorance about true nationalism. There are people in this independent country who refuse to bow before Bharatmata or sing 'Vande Mataram'. Such situation has arisen only because of today's politicians.
      
On Pratapgad, Afzal Khan's tomb is being glorified instead of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Death sentence of Mohammad Afzal is not yet executed. All this is happening because Hindus are not united. Our rulers are so emboldened that even the 'Ram-setu' worshipped by thousands of Hindus, and has great significance even otherwise, is being demolished.

It is the need of the hour that Hindus get together and increase their strength. Britishers could rule this country only till Hindus were divided. They had to, however, quit this country once Hindus were united. But before leaving, Britisers managed to spread the venom of casteism which created different factions among Hindus. After Independence, the Rulers too, fuelled this rift among castes. The Government, be it of any party, has always adopted policies against Hindus to woo the minorities. Because of these rulers, the State's coffers are empty. They are worried only about their bank balance and wealth. These very rulers are scheming to take over temples of Hindus. They have already taken over Sree Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, Sree Vitthal Mandir at Pandharpur and Sree Saibaba Mandir, Shirdi. The money offred by devotees in these temples is mismanaged. Even a tiny ant bites off when trampled; but Hindus are sleeping despite constant assaults. If we do not wake up even now, our condition would be like that of displaced Hindus from Kashmir.
